Tottenham Hotspurs can regain the Premier League lead as they host Chelsea in a London derby on Monday night.
After Arsenal's defeat to Newcastle United over the weekend, Spurs are now the lone unbeaten side in Premier League action this season, and three points here would see them swing two above Manchester City alone into the top spot. Even a draw would pull level with City on points, although they would remain behind on goal difference.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are still mired in mediocrity in Mauricio Pochettino's first season in charge. The Blues sit 13th in the Premier League table, having fought to a draw with Arsenal on October 21 but following that up with a disappointing defeat to Brentford. A 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers in the EFL Cup provided some respite, but there's still an air of concern around the Blues.
Chelsea had been on a 12-match unbeaten run against Tottenham across all competitions before defeat last time they met back in February, just their sixth regulation defeat in 34 matches against Spurs since the start of the 2010/11 season.

Prediction
Chelsea have shown an ability to play top teams competitively under Mauricio Pochettino, as evidenced by the recent draw with Arsenal or a 1-1 result against Liverpool to begin the season, but both of those came at Stamford Bridge.
Tottenham can't take this Chelsea team lightly, but Spurs remain the better side and should pick up the necessary three points at home, reminding the Blues of the work still to do prior to their upcoming gauntlet of games against Man City, Newcastle, Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester United through the start of December.
