South African football giants Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly pursuing the services of Harambee Stars forward and captain Michael Olunga, according to reports from the South.

Amakhosi have been actively searching for a goal scorer to bolster their attack.

After struggling to secure their initial targets, Fiston Mayele and Tumisang Orebonye, Soccer Laduma reports that attention has now shifted to Olunga, who currently plays for Al Duhail in Qatar.

MEGAPARI is giving you the BEST ODDS and possible returns on this exciting match and on other premier league games this weekend as well.

The publication adds that sources close to Chiefs confirm the club is considering the Qatar-based 30-year-old striker as a solution to their goal-scoring struggles.

“Olunga has been recommended to the team by scouts. He is a very strong striker, and if they don’t get what they have been looking for, they may settle for him,” quoted the news outlet.

“They have monitored his games and have been impressed, but you know it’s not a one-man show. Other parties are involved in bringing him in. But yes, Chiefs have shown interest, and things are looking promising.”

However, reports suggest that financial factors could be a hurdle, as Olunga plays in the well-funded Qatar League. Although his contract is nearing its end, his signing-on fee could be substantial.

If the deal materializes, this would mark the tenth club the Harambee Stars captain has played for in his extensive career, which has spanned three continents.

Olunga’s impressive career includes 250 appearances, 188 goals, and 30 assists across various leagues.
