Kenyan winger Silko Amari Otieno has completed a season-long loan move to English Championship side Wigan Athletic from newly promoted Premier League outfit Leicester City.
Wigan have been chasing hot on the heels of the former Chelsea winger, an interest that has lasted for one and a half years.
The club not relenting on their pursuit of the 20-year-old forward paid off with Otieno finally being convinced to join the 2013 FA Cup champions.

It's a very proud moment for me and my family. I can't wait to get started and meet the fans.
"It was easy for me to come here knowing the Manager has wanted me for over 18 months. I want to do my best and show everyone what I am capable of," said Otieno.
Wigan manager and former player Shaun Maloney opened up on why they had chased the signature of the exciting prospect.
Otieno has represented England in the Under 15 and 18 junior level but is still eligible to don the colours of Harambee Stars having never represented England at senior level.
His career started at Carshalton Athletic where he was scouted to join Chelsea after two seasons and ended up lasting a decade at the west London club.
Although he failed to make a senior appearance for the Blues he featured for both the club’s U18s and U21s before moving to Leicester at the start of last season.
His spell with the 2016 Premier League champions saw him make 16 appearances for Leicester’s senior Academy side, scoring on five occasions and went on to win the Men’s Development Player of the Season award last May.
