Expressing satisfaction with the agreement, Berntsen emphasized Wilson's potential and AIK's eagerness to welcome him into their ranks.
"He is a good player. A player that we wanted to connect with us," he told Afton Bladet.
Despite the brief duration of Wilson's trial, Berntsen commended his performance, highlighting his positive impact on the pitch.
"He came in today for a short time and had good qualities and a good eye for the game. Made a good effort."
While acknowledging that the details are yet to be finalized, Berntsen clarified that the framework for Wilson's transfer has been agreed upon.
The Kenyan prospect is expected to formalize his move to AIK upon turning 18 on August 21, with ongoing negotiations concerning the specifics of the contract.
Berntsen also drew attention to another potential recruit, Emmanuel Gono, a Liberian forward undergoing trials at the club.
He hinted at AIK's proactive approach to strengthening their squad, mentioning that the club has agreed to sign both players.
"Yes, so it's a bit about finances as well, but basically we have agreed on the framework for a transfer regarding both players"
In the friendly match against FK BaÄka Topola, AIK suffered a 0-2 defeat in Spain
