He managed to forge his name into the starting line-up against XBuyer as Kenya thumped the Spanish side 4-0, a win that makes them closer to the knockout stage.
The speedy winger was born in Lausanne, Switzerland in 2005 and that time his father was working for United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). His father Maurice Kakai Bisau hails from Kitale and his mom Damaris Kanaya Bisau is natively from Vihiga County.
His move to England to join Brooke House College was propelled by his unending ambition to become a professional footballer.
“Basically I was at Swiss Club and it didn’t work out for me abd my dad got in contact with an agent for me to move to England. At Brooke House Academy it’s a different level and the main goal there is to push players to go and sign professional contracts,” Bisau told People Sport.
He further reveals that his involvement in the Costa Daurada Cup was courtesy of Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba who was keen to see him feature for Kenya after reaching out to his father.
Bisau says his desire is to play at the top level of global football to repay his parents sacrifices and playing for Kenya senior team Harambee Stars will be a dream come true.
“Definitely my goal is to sign a professional contract and play at the highest level. The support that my parents have given me since I was a kid is what pushes me to work hard everytime.
“It has been my target from young age to play for Kenya and the fact that my parents are Kenyan it means that it’s a country that is close to my heart and its home actually. Representing Kenya will mean a lot to me and my parent and for sure, it will be a dream come true,” Bisau added.
Playing with his new Kenyan team mates was an excitement to him as well especially winning together after a one unit training on Sunday evening.
“It is a wonderful experience, something that I will never forget. I am very grateful to all the coaches, staff and my team mates and I hope we can go and win this tournament.”
