Jadon Sancho's Instagram account has been disabled due to his public dispute with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.  Although his X account (formerly Twitter) is still active, he cleared all of his posts last November when he was away from the team during the holiday season, only to return to the platform earlier this year. Sancho used social media to respond to Ten Hag's reasons for excluding him from the team against Arsenal, which led to him being excluded from first-team training after he refused to apologize for his online behavior. However, he did remove his pinned X statement from his profile after eight days. It is unlikely that the 23-year-old will be part of Tuesday's League Cup match against Crystal Palace. Reports from the Manchester Evening News suggest that Sancho is open to leaving United because Ten Hag has backed his initial comments. In his now-deleted social media post, Sancho accused Ten Hag of lying about the reasons for his exclusion and claimed he had been a "scapegoat" for a long time.

The United manager admitted uncertainty about Sancho's future with the club and described his situation as "unimportant" ahead of the Premier League loss to Brighton. Sancho's most recent active post on X came after United's final pre-season friendly against Athletic Club. He was a substitute in the club's first three games of the season before being omitted from the squad for the Arsenal match. Ten Hag is facing a shortage of options at right wing, with Antony also unavailable as he deals with allegations of misconduct against women, which he denies.  Bruno Fernandes played in that position against Burnley on Saturday after Facundo Pellistri featured there against Bayern. Additionally, Mason Mount has the capability to play on the wing if needed.
